Enjoy an exhibit of more than two dozen oil paintings by Eater Shore artist Carole Boggeman Pierson that celebrate the beauty and serenity of the fields and marshes throughout the seasons. Horsepower on Main Street Car Show
Saturday, October 28, 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. along Main Street in downtown Smithfield
Come on out for a ghoulishly good time for this “All Makes & Models” Car Show. Registration is from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. There will be candy for the Trick or Treaters and a bounce house too. QDaddy’s Pittmaster BBQ will be on site and don’t miss your chance to have your car’s photo taken with Team Shelby Girl and Shocker Racing model Bex Russ. There will be raffles as well. Registration is $20 the day of the event and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Carroll Shelby Foundation and Voices for Kids CASA Program of SE. Classes will be determined the day of the event.

Twilight Cemetery Tour at Historic St. Luke’s Church

Dead men don’t tell tales, but their tombstones do! Historic St. Luke’s Church has been the site of burials since the 1600’s. Enjoy the stories of local saints and sinners on a 30-minute, family-friendly guided tour around our 100 acres. Tickets are $10 per person and include complimentary light refreshments after the experience. (Last tour leaves at 9:00 p.m.) Participants are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a flashlight.
