Announcing Smithfield’s Instagram Scavenger Hunt!

Genuine Smithfield celebrates its public art and invites you to join us by playing our Instagram Scavenger Hunt featuring the town’s Porcine Parade and life-size bronze statues by the artist George Lundeen. Each week we’ll choose the best image and the winner will receive a pig-shaped sportpack! There is no age limit to play (you’re never too old or too young to have some fun.

It’s easy to play!

Step #1: Download the maps of the statue locations from our website – or pick one up at the Visitor Center (319 Main Street). Use the maps to locate the porcine and/or bronze statues in town. Check off each statue on the map as you go along so you’ll be sure to find each one, but you do not have to enter a photo at every statue to be eligible for the weekly prize.
