Souper Saturday has been an important fundraising event for the Isle of Wight Christian Outreach Program for the past 25 years. All monies raised (100%) will be used to pay for heating costs for those in need during the winter months through the Isle of Wight Social Services Department’s Fuel Assistance Program.
Come by Trinity United Methodist Church (201 Cedar Street in downtown Smithfield) from 11 a.m. until 3 pm. for soups, ham biscuits, hot dogs, desserts and more. Drive-thru take-out service is also available. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. For information call 757-810-4165
